The Council of Romanian Banking Trustees (CPBR) was established as the first employer organization of the banking sector in Romania on April 28, 2014. The founding banks of CPBR were Banca Comercială Română, BRD – Groupe Société Générale, Raiffeisen Bank and UniCredit Bank.

Currently, CPBR's members are Banca Comercială Română and UniCredit Bank.
